Buff & Polish — Paint Correction Service
Restore your vehicle’s paint to a deep, glossy shine — swirl marks and light scratches removed
What Is Buff & Polish?
Over time, your vehicle’s paint accumulates micro-scratches, swirl marks, water spots, and oxidation that make even clean cars look dull. Our professional buff and polish service uses machine polishing to remove these defects from the clear coat — restoring depth, gloss, and reflection to your paint without respraying or repainting.
What We Address
Swirl Marks
From improper washing and drying
Water Spots
Mineral deposits from rain and sprinklers
Oxidation
Faded, chalky paint from UV exposure
Light Scratches
Surface-level clear coat scratches
Important: What Polishing Cannot Fix
Polishing removes defects in the clear coat. Deep scratches that penetrate to the color coat or primer, rock chips, and rust require paint touch-up or body repair — not polishing. We’ll assess your vehicle honestly and tell you what to expect before we start.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many times can a car be polished?
Each polish removes a tiny amount of clear coat. Most modern vehicles have enough clear coat for 3–5 machine polish sessions over their lifetime. We use the least aggressive polish necessary to achieve the desired result, minimizing clear coat removal.
Should I get ceramic coating after polishing?
Yes — polishing before ceramic coating is actually the recommended process. Polishing corrects paint defects so the coating bonds to perfect paint. The combination gives you the best possible long-term finish.
How long will the results last?
After polishing, the corrected paint needs protection. We recommend wax, paint sealant, or ceramic coating to protect the results. With proper maintenance, your paint can look great for years.
